Yesterday we received a 3-4 week old baby girl. She had been abandoned in a field. It is always bittersweet when we get a new baby here at the shelter. For each baby that we take in, there are countless others who are still in crisis.
This little girl is absolutely gorgeous and so sweet! Her mother must have been so desperate that she could see no other way.
Here is Lincoln holding the new baby just after she arrived. I was so focused on the baby that I cut Lincoln's head off.
